Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Mission Statement
The Clifford Township Parks and Recreation Board supports the Clifford Township Comprehensive Plan by developing and recommending future plans and facilities, oversees and administers approved plans and programs, and maintains township recreational facilities in order to improve the quality of life to all through enhanced recreational, athletic and cultural opportunities. Clifford Township Community Park
The Park is located at 119 Cemetery Street, directly behind the Township Building. The 29 acre park offers a variety of recreational opportunities including more than a mile of walking paths, a baseball field, two playgrounds for ages 2-5 years and 5-12 years, a pavilion, basketball and pickle ball courts, soccer nets, access to the East branch of the Tunkhannock Creek for fishing, and plenty of open space for unstructured play. Benches and picnic tables are located throughout the park and heated restroom facilities are available year round.
